I have no idea but don't get that shit on your fingers......it gets everywhere and doesn't come off! LOL
I don't know how well it would hold up to heat....but that's a good question....I'll wait till someone smarter comes through with an answer. If your not part of the solution then you are part of the problem..... Roadkill III H.C.M.F. Local 6978 |

I'd hafta say no,,, Like RK said the heat and friction would probably turn that stuff into something very undesireable inside the motor.

doesnt ainti sieze have small particles of stuff in it... graphite or something...?
A) It prevents seizing, galling, cold welding, rust and corrosion in fasteners. You can purchase high temperature anti-seize made with copper or graphite for exhaust system and manifold bolts and on spark plugs. Anywere you want to make removal of a threaded fastener easier. I wouldnt use it. I use either cam lube, lithium greese, lucas. could also use a heavier weight oil but not too thick. I personally used lithium greese on all my bearing surfaces and cam during breakin. its the cheapest route and widely used with engine builders.

well let me tell you what happens when you use anti-sieze on a cam,,,,,,,it all plugs up at the end of the cam causeing it to burn the fuck up. that is all i
can find wrong on jojo's bike. the very end of the cam where you put the bolt and washer is fuckered up. the litle square pocket under the cam towers had
anti-seize in it and the botom part of the end cap was plum full of anti-seize.
so put that shit in the catagorie as sylicone. |

I would never put anything on the cam other than oil or something like oil.... I usually just dump some oil on the towers before putting the valve cover back
on. Sorry to hear about the anti seize man that sucks......... Working on a customers bike now and he had all the side covers put on with no gaskets just used
permatex and slothered a fucking ton of anti seize on all his allen head chrome bolts for all the side covers what a fricking mess. Had the shit all over me by
the end of the day.
